Police Blotter: Sept. 12-20

Two strong-arm robberies, an attempted residential burglary and an incident of indecent exposure all occurred in the Wheaton area.

Yesterday, Montgomery County Police released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from September 12 through September 20.

Robbery

  • An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 12900 block of Middlevale Lane, Wheaton on Wednesday 9/14 between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  Forced entry, but nothing was taken.

Suspects: three Hispanic males.

  • On Sept. 19 at 3:30 p.m. an attempted strong-arm robbery occurred in front of the Arcade at the Glenmont Shopping Center. The suspects assaulted the victim and attempted to remove property.

Arrested: male, 23, from Silver Spring; male, 21, from Silver Spring.

  • A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 11300 block of Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring on Saturday, 9/17 at 1:00 a.m.  The suspects assaulted the victim and removed property.

 Suspects: three Hispanic males.

Indecent Exposure

  • On Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 4:45 p.m., an indecent exposure incident occurred at Kennedy High School. The suspect exposed himself to the victim.

Suspect: Hispanic male; vehicle: silver SUV.
