Roof on Apartment Building in Glenmont Catches Fire
Damage to two apartments in building.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue responded to reports of smoke at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon in the 12700 block of Layhill Road.
According to Capt. Oscar Garcia, firefighters found a fire on the roof of an three-story apartment complex in Winexberg Manor Apartments, and exintugished it within five minutes.
Minor damage was reported to two apartments. The residents of the apartment were not at home during the fire.
