Silver Spring Man Arrested for Two Wheaton Business Robberies

On September 15, Montgomery County Police arrested Jeremiah Jordan McLeod, 19, of Silver Spring for the Sept. 7 armed robbery of the Hollister Company store in the
Video surveillance, combined with subsequent investigation by Montgomery County detectives led to the identification of Jeremiah McLeod. During police interrogation, McLeod confessed to the Hollister robbery as well as the Aug. 25 armed robbery of the on Georgia Avenue.
Today, the suspect was charged with the Cricket Wireless and Hollister Company store armed robberies, first degree assault, theft under $100, and various handgun offenses.

McLeod is currently being held on a $250,000 bond for the Hollister robbery.
