Suspect in Olney Homicides Worked in Wheaton

Rohan Goodlett arrested for two counts of first degree murder.

Update:

Julian, the barber manager at L & L, says he's "shocked" by the news that Goodlett was arrested.

"He liked to rap, read books. He kept to himself," Julian said.

L & L is a barber shop and clothing store that opened on Ennalls in January. Goodlett had worked at the store for two months.

Rohan Goodlett, 34, of the 19500 block of Olney Mill Road in Olney, was arrested in connection with two homicides, one at 3400 block of N. High Street on March 21 and one in the 19500 block of Olney Mill Road in Olney on March 19.

According to his Facebook profile, Goodlett is employed at the L and L Barber Shop in Wheaton. 

Police stopped Goodlett on March 21 because he was driving a vehicle that matched the lookout description for vehicle at the time of the shooting on N. High Street.  

Goodlett has remained in custody since Monday night.

Early yesterday morning, a search warrant was conducted at Goodlett’s residence and ammunition was recovered inside his residence. Ballistic testing determined that ammunition found in his residence has been loaded in and ejected from the same gun used to murder both victims.
