Wheaton Crime: Aggravated Assault Near Mall Food Court

Montgomery County police have released the latest crime report for the Fourth District, from Dec. 3-11. The list published here is not comprehensive, but rather selects incidents that occurred in or near Wheaton.
An aggravated assault occurred near the food court at Westfield Wheaton Mall, Wheaton, on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 4 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.
A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 10800 block of Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 10:49 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.

An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 1500 block of Gridley Lane, Silver Spring, on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 5:25 a.m.
A residential burglary occurred in the 10700 block of Tenbrook Drive, Silver Spring, between Saturday, Dec. 1, and Thursday, Dec. 6. Forced entry; nothing taken.
