Wheaton Crime: Multiple Thefts from Vehicles

The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The Montgomery County Police have released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from July 16-24. This list is not comprehensive, but rather selects incidents that occurred in or very near Wheaton.

A residential burglary occurred in the 2200 block of Georgian Woods Place, Wheaton on July 20 between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.  Unforced entry; property taken.  

An indecent exposure occurred behind Shoppers Food Warehouse, 2301 Randolph Road, Wheaton on July 19 at 7:07 a.m.  The suspect exposed himself and was arrested.

Arrested: Male, 49, from an unknown address.

Four thefts from vehicles occurred in this time frame. Three took place on July 21 between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. in this Wheaton beat.  Affected streets included the 10900 block of Horde Street and Cambridge Park Court.  All the vehicles were unlocked.  Loose property left inside was taken.
