The Montgomery County Police have released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from June 11-19. This list is not comprehensive, but rather selects incidents that occurred in or very near Wheaton.
Robbery
A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 7-Eleven parking lot at 11406 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring on June 14 at 7:15 p.m. Police say that no further details are available at this time.

Burglary
An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 10700 block of Lester Street in Silver Spring on June 11 at 8 p.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
