Food for Thought: What is CSA?

Food for Thought: What is CSA?  Community supported agriculture (CSA) lets you receive fresh produce, grown by local farmers, delivered right to one's neighborhood.

On Monday, January 9 at 8 pm at the Silver Spring Jewish Center,
Erin Johnson, coordinator of the Sandy Spring CSA which serves Montgomery County, will explain how CSA works, why CSA is good for the environment, and how the farms and produce are selected.

This program is free, open to the public, and is sponsored by the Kayamut/Sustainability Circle.
