Event Preview: Educators' Night at Brookside Gardens

Montgomery Parks is offering a free event for teachers to connect them with environmental education providers.

Are you an educator? Do you want to learn more about the science and environmental resources available to you and your students?

Montgomery Parks is inviting you to Educators’ Night on Oct. 11 from 5-8 p.m. at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton. More than 25 science and environmental education providers, such as the National Park Service and Brickyard Educational Farm, will attend.

Maryland became the first state in 2011 to require a "comprehensive, multi-disciplinary environmental education" before high school students receive a diploma.
