Looking to learn a new skill? Ready take up a new hobby? Rockville has several schools and a wide variety of shops that offer a range of classes. Here are a few:

  • Make a quilt. , just off of Shady Grove Road on Luanne Drive in Gaithersburg, offers a variety of classes for all skill levels in hand or machine quilting, piecing or appliqué. Classes show you how to create a quilt, garment or accessory. Call 301-527-0598.
