School Rankings Show Einstein Mid-Pack, Kennedy at Bottom

The Washington Post and U.S. News & World Report recently released their national high school rankings. Find out where schools in Wheaton placed.

In the Washington Post High School Challenge, Albert Einstein High School ranked 360 out of 1,848 schools. came in at 702, at 715, and at 1,386.

Approximately 8 percent of American high schools appear on the list. All 25 MCPS high schools made the cut, with Kennedy High School coming last.

Of schools in the D.C. area, Einstein ranked 47, Northwood 78, Wheaton 80 and Kennedy 125.

In the U.S. News & World Report rankings, Einstein and Wheaton high schools ranked 482 and 826 nationally and 21 and 28 in the state, respectively.
