Knights of Columbus Collect Litter on Arcola Avenue

On Saturday, March 31, four members of the Knights of Columbus removed litter from the organization's “Adopt-a-Road” segment of Arcola Avenue in Wheaton, between Kemp Mill Road and Georgia Avenue.

The Knights belong to the Msgr. Wells Council 13008 at . They reported collecting four 38-gallon bags of litter and debris, and recycling a 30-gallon bag of glass, metal and plastic.

Adopt-a-Road organizations and volunteers agree to de-litter a segment of major county roads at least six times per year. For more information see the Montgomery County Department of Transportation website.
