Established in 1968, Barbarian Comics is one of the nation's oldest comic book shops and is located just one block north of the Wheaton metro station. With two warehouses stocked full of tens of thousands of comics, Barbarian Comics has plenty of everything, including Batman, The Avengers, Spiderman, Archie, Conan the Barbarian - new, used, rarities, spinoffs and more. Special orders are available, and the store also has a wide variety of VHS tapes, DVDs and action figures.

Way back in the day (mid 70's - early 90's), I used to go to Barbarian Comics probably twice a month. I recently rediscovered the store. I now go there to purchase comic bags, boards and boxes. Still a great place to shop.
