First opened in 1958 in downtown DC, Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center moved to Wheaton a decade later, owner Alan Levin's hometown. The store is packed with guitars, drums, amps and plenty of knowledgeable salesmen. Customers are allowed to try out equipment, turning portions of the store into impromptu jam sessions.
