I saw Dr. Khan in 2011 for a routine physical that should have been covered 100% by insurance, but due to a problem with the billing code, I was billed for services and labs. Eventually, I straightened out the problem, but it took several calls to Dr. Khan's office to ask them to rebill. Flash forward to 2012: when I called Dr. Khan's office to schedule another physical exam, they said that my last appointment wasn't covered in full by my insurance and that I should "straighten that out." It was their responsibility to deal with the insurance company, and I understood from my insurance company that it was their error in coding that caused the problems in the first place. I'm taking my business elsewhere.
