Hughes Neighborhod Housing

Hughes Neighborhood Housing is a community housing program provided by the Hughes Methodist Church on Georgia Ave. TheMore homes adjoining the church building were completed in 1998 with cooperation of church and Government community in Montgomery County. It is designed and built for people with disabilities, both mental and physical, and is comprised of 24 beautiful one-bedroom units and a community center, which includes a library and a multipurpose room equipped with a kitchenette.
Forest Knolls Elementary School

Forest Knolls Elementary School is located around the corner from Northwood High on a quiet corner in Kemp Mill. TheMore school, led by Principal Donald Masline, is focused on meeting the needs of each of its students, and one of two schools in the county designed  (both through the curriculum and the physical building) to include students with orthopedic disabilities. 

An active PTA and an art-filled building are two of the features of Forest Knolls, as is their junior press corps program.

Jewish Social Service Agency

The Jewish Social Service Agency, JSSA, provides a range of services. With locations across the nation, the SilverMore Spring office specifically offers career and employment services. 

According to their website, "JSSA's employment and career coaches, supported employment specialists, and job developers/placement specialists assist people who are unemployed or underemployed, professionals changing careers, individuals with disabilities, youth in need of career guidance and newly arrived emigres and refugees."
