If you're planning to spend Labor Day weekend at Wheaton Regional Park, keep in mind that these areas will be closed all or part of the time: Wheaton Tennis will be open Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., but will be closed on Monday. Wheaton Ice Arena will be closed all weekend. Brookside Nature Center will be closed on Labor Day. Wheaton Train & Carousel will be open all weekend, including Labor Day, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For your convenience, Patch has compiled a list of hours for Montgomery County Parks in the Wheaton area: - Brookside Gardens Visitors Center — Open all weekend including Memorial Day, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. The “Wings of Fancy” Exhibit will be open all weekend including Memorial Day, 10 a.m – 4 p.m. - Wheaton Train & Carousel at Wheaton Regional Park– Open all weekend. May 26-27, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.; May 28, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. - Wheaton Tennis will offer a 50 percent discount on court time (for $7.50 /hour) on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28.
