A Wider Circle Wants to Help Families During the Holidays – And Throughout the Year
Non-profit hopes to extend the reach of holiday giving.
Giving is a part of many traditions throughout the holiday season. Through the end of the year, Wheaton Patch will feature local and county opportunities to give – whether it's your time, food, money or talents. If you know a non-profit, charity or other holiday program in the area that should be featured, email me at taylor@patch.com. A Wider Circle kicks off its special programs for holiday season with donations to its Thanksgiving Basket Program. The non-profit is looking for healthy, non-perishable food items to pack in baskets and reusable grocery bags. Distribution to families begins November 21st, but you can still sign up.
