Police Search for Suspect After Indecent Exposure at Park

The suspect was observed on a Saturday afternoon near a playground.

Maryland-National Capital Park Police are searching for a man who was seen exposing himself at Veirs Mill Local Park near the playground area on Oct. 20 at approximately 12 p.m. According to a press release by police, the suspect was described as a white male with short light brown hair and clean shaven. He is approximately 35 years old, 5’9” - 6’in height and approximately 185 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and a white biking cap. Wheaton Crime: Armed Robbery Outside Wheaton Mall

The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Montgomery County Police have released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from Sept. 10-18. The list published here is not comprehensive, but rather selects incidents that occurred in or very near Wheaton.  An armed robbery occurred in the 3000 block of Upton Drive, Kensington, on Sept. 12, at 2:30 p.m.  The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.   Arrested: Male, 15, from Kensington; Male, 15, from Silver Spring; Male, 15, from Wheaton; Male, 15, from Wheaton. Thanks for letting us know. I hope that the mall puts in cameras after this negative publicity. I've been going to the mall for 11 years without incident, but that doesn't mean it couldn't have happened to me. Sorry.   more ›

Wheaton Crime: Multiple Thefts from Vehicles

The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The Montgomery County Police have released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from July 16-24. This list is not comprehensive, but rather selects incidents that occurred in or very near Wheaton. A residential burglary occurred in the 2200 block of Georgian Woods Place, Wheaton on July 20 between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.  Unforced entry; property taken.   An indecent exposure occurred behind Shoppers Food Warehouse, 2301 Randolph Road, Wheaton on July 19 at 7:07 a.m.  The suspect exposed himself and was arrested.   Arrested: Male, 49, from an unknown address. Four thefts from vehicles occurred in this time frame. Three took place on July 21 between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. in this Wheaton beat.  Affected streets included …

Police Blotter: Sept. 12-20

Two strong-arm robberies, an attempted residential burglary and an incident of indecent exposure all occurred in the Wheaton area.

Yesterday, Montgomery County Police released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from September 12 through September 20. Robbery Suspects: three Hispanic males. Arrested: male, 23, from Silver Spring; male, 21, from Silver Spring.  Suspects: three Hispanic males.   Indecent Exposure Suspect: Hispanic male; vehicle: silver SUV.
