Wheaton Crime: Strong-Armed and Residential Burglaries

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Montgomery County Police have released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from Feb. 20-28. This list is not comprehensive, but rather selects the ones that occurred in or very near Wheaton. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Robberies A strong-arm robbery occurred at Layhill Road and Queensguard Road, Aspen Hill on Feb. 22 at at 3:49 p.m. The suspect forcefully removed property from the victim. Suspects: #1 - Black male, 17, #2 - Black male, 16-18. A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 2000 block of Georgian Woods Place, Wheaton on Feb. 22 at 1:01 a.m.  The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.   Residential burglaries A residential burglary occurred in the 2600 …

Police Blotter: Sept. 12-20

Two strong-arm robberies, an attempted residential burglary and an incident of indecent exposure all occurred in the Wheaton area.

Yesterday, Montgomery County Police released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from September 12 through September 20. Robbery Suspects: three Hispanic males. Arrested: male, 23, from Silver Spring; male, 21, from Silver Spring.  Suspects: three Hispanic males.   Indecent Exposure Suspect: Hispanic male; vehicle: silver SUV.

Police Blotter: Sept. 5-13

An aggravated assault and three robberies all occurred in the Wheaton area.

Yesterday, Montgomery County Police released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District from Sept. 5 through Sept. 13. Robbery: Suspect: black male, 18-25, 5’6”, 140 lbs., thin build, wearing a sweatshirt, and blue jeans. Jeremiah Jordan McLeod has been arrested and charged with this crime. Suspect: black male, 5’6”, with a thin build. Suspect: black male, 25-28, 6’2”, 200 lbs., with dreadlocks, wearing a red T-shirt and black slacks. Aggravated Assault: Suspect: Hispanic male, 5’9”, 200 lbs; Vehicle: Black Ford van with MD tags.
