Montgomery County police have released the latest crime report for the Fourth District, from Jan. 28 - Feb. 5. The list published here is not comprehensive, but rather selects incidents that occurred in or near Wheaton and Kensington. A residential burglary occurred in the 600 block of Winona Court in the Kemp Mill area of Silver Spring on Thursday, Jan. 31, between 8 a.m. and 6:25 p.m. Forced entry. Property taken. A crime report for the Wheaton area: robberies and residential burglaries.
The Montgomery County Police have released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from November 28 to Dec. 6. This list is not comprehensive, but rather selects the ones that occurred in or very near Wheaton. Robbery A robbery occurred at, Kayson Street and Matey Road, Wheaton, on Dec. 4 at 10:45 p.m. The victim was assaulted and a weapon was used against him. Property was taken. Suspects: male and female, wearing all black clothing; Vehicle: light blue. Strong-arm robberies A strong-arm robbery occurred at McDonald’s, 12313 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring (near the corner of Georgia Avenue and Randolph Road) on Dec. 6. A crime report for the Wheaton area.
The Montgomery County Police have released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from November 21-29. This list is not comprehensive, but rather selects the crimes that occurred in or very near Wheaton. Three related armed carjackings/abductions of elderly male victims occurred at Wheaton Plaza on Nov. 23 at 2:30 p.m., Nov. 26 at 1:25 p.m. and Nov. 27 at 2:30 p.m. Patch covered the investigation and the resulting arrest of a 50-year-old man from Landover.
