For some urban Montgomery Countyians, there are a million and one reasons why you don't need a car. Then there are those times when you absolutely wish you had one. Car share businesses can provide a set of wheels without the responsibility of ownership. In the county's urban centers of Silver Spring, Wheaton and Bethesda, 13 new locations will provide space for Zipcar and Hertz on Demand, the county department of transportation announced this week. Yes, we use them all the time! Having Zipcar nearby enables our family to keep just one car since we have an extra available when we need it. I would love to see more become available at that spot. more ›
