Ahhhhh...That explains alot. You love your job and you want everyone else to love your job. Sorry, I am for pure capitalism. We are not communist or socialist in Montgomery County. Wheaton will not be a subsidized community not for failed businesses and not for residents.

Felix Varela - I am not sure what is your agenda. You are always threatening in your remarks with violence (e.g. sometimes violent). It appears that you are one of those who continue to commit crimes in the area in order to keep Wheaton decrepit and scare away developers. If you work hard, you can earn what will sustain you a decent living. Why don't all these, you call poor, join unionized jobs so they can earn more and sustain a decent living? I am sure you are advocating on behalf of those who are illegally in the country to start with; and thus are not employable with decent salaries.

ReplyI support market value for everything in Wheaton. I will not support anything that requires Wheaton developers to go beyond what is required from developers in Bethesda, Rockville, White Flint, or Silver Spring. Why does Wheaton developers need to sign a CBA that clearly articulates what their project will do for those who are low income? Have they required a similar one for White Flint? The County requires 12% of all new developments to have 12% MPDU and that is all what should be required from Wheaton developers. Wheaton should not be low income housing concentration. People only prosper when they mingle and not live in segregated ghettos e.g. racial, economical, political, religious, etc.). The developer will build and develop what Wheaton and its people need. The developer should not cater to small special interest groups. It is Wheaton's time. We are ready for a vast community revitalization.

Felix Varela - This is another threatening comment. Also, you use inappropriate words, weather in English or Spanish. This is a total reflection of how you think, level of education, and degree of civility. That is exactly why I do not want you or people like you in my community. You have no idea of how to coexist with others. If you disagree or things don't happen the way you want, you resort to violence and demeaning comments. Subsidized housing, for the most part, brings that type of people who feel entitled without even attempting to contribute to society. I ask the editor to monitor this person's postings. Your behaviors are repulsive.
