Hike a NEW Trail on National Trails Day – Saturday, June 2nd

Join Green Wheaton as Jennifer Chambers of Hiking Along leads a hike on the newly completed Northwood Chesapeake Bay Trail for American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day, Saturday, June 2nd from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Discover how the trail connects Sligo Creek and Northwest Branch Parks together and learn about its inception as an idea to its completion in November and why it’s an important green space in the down county. Please meet at the first playground on Sligo Creek Parkway which is on the right a couple hundred yards south of University Blvd. For more information, please email Jennifer at jennifer@hikingalong.com.
