Loiederman Middle School singers to present spring concert

The Loiederman Middle School choral music program will present its spring concert Thursday, May 19, at 7 p.m. at John F. Kennedy High School, 1901 Randolph Road, Silver Spring. Loiederman's Chamber Choir consistently ranks as one of Maryland's top middle school choral ensembles, having earned straight "superior" ratings this month at the state adjudication festival. Loiederman's sixth-grade chorus and show choir also will perform, the latter singing a medley of Michael Jackson hits. In addition, the Strathmore Elementary School chorus will make a guest appearance. Concert-goers will be able to bid on a variety of fun and useful goods and services at a silent auction to support choral music at Loiederman, Montgomery County's only whole-school magnet for the creative and performing arts. Admission is $3.
