The Leadership Training Institute Poetry Slam will be held in the chorus room at John F. Kennedy High School. be located in the chorus room at John F. Kennedy HS.
All proceeds go to support Project Create, which serves at-risk children from low income families with limited opportunities to discover the power and beauty of their opinions through art.
In an effort to raise more funds for Project Create the LTI group will hold a silent auction the night of the slam, with work donated from artist, poets, and published writers.
