Where to Find Prom Dresses: Allure Opens at Westfield Wheaton Mall
Allure is one of the new businesses opening at the mall near the Costco.
It's prom season, and a new formal dress store has opened in the Westfield Wheaton mall.
Allure sells accessories and dresses for proms, quinceñeras and other formal occasions. Most dresses are in the $100-300 price range, but luxury name-brand dresses can cost up to $1,000.
Owner Dan Bishel prides himself on customer service, and the store also offers alterations.

Dan Bishel and May Bishel said they hope to open another store at the Wheaton mall in mid-June, called Fashion Lady.
The Bishels also operate Montgomery American Bride, located in Fair Oaks in Fairfax, VA. They hope to move the store to Montgomery Mall in Bethesda in mid-May.

Allure will be open during mall hours: 10 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, and 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Sunday.
