"They can't agree it poses health risks because they are not health experts, and it is likely that health experts won't say that this particular gas station poses any more health risks than any other. Adding one gas station is not going to stop mass transit or smart growth. This issue is being blown way out of proportion." -MG Kemp Mill

"We live in the 21st century where pollution has been diagnosed as the No 1 Hazard to humans, Smoking and 2nd Hand Smoke are banned! Why then build a Mega 16 Pumps Gas Station so close to homes; a school for the disabled (Stephen Knolls) and a pool (kenmont Swim & Tennis)? It's sad to see that a multibillion dollar corporation like Costco doesn't show any consideration towards its future cutomers Health!" -Viviane Pescov

A sample comment:

"What is perplexing to me is that anyone, be it Costco or a County Council member would oppose this ZTA on the basis that there isn't enough scientific evidence supporting the community's concerns. Even if that were true, which I dispute, I'd rather be safe than sorry when it comes to the health and well-being of myself and my neighbors, especially children and the elderly. Besides, don't we already endure enough Code Red and Code Orange air quality days during the summer in MoCo. Mega gas stations in densely populated areas of the county, adjacent to schools, recreational facilities, and the like will only exacerbate the problem." -April Gassler

A sample comment:

"It all depends on how they are raised and how they are bred. A friend has a pit bull that received certification to visit nursing homes. He is very gentle. On the flip side, another friend had give up her Yorkshire terrier because it has severe behavior issues that seemingly are a result of the breeding." -Judy Pfluegeer
