Photos: June Storm Damage in Wheaton

Wheaton picks up the mess after a powerful storm swept through Montgomery County Thursday afternoon.

No major injuries were reported in Montgomery County in the storms that swept through the region Thursday afternoon, but powerful winds left a lot of fallen tree branches in their wake.

At the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Randolph Road, police officers were directing traffic Friday morning as crews repaired the traffic lights.
