What You Need to Know About Metro: July 8

With the weekend nearly upon us, the weekend Metro work starts up again. Here's what you need to know if you're using the Metro this weekend.

• On this side of the Red line, single-tracking will run between Takoma and Forest Glen stations, from 9:30pm Friday to close on Sunday. There will also be single tracking between Grosvenor-Strathmore and Twinbrook.
• There's two areas of work on Blue and Yellow lines from 10 p.m. Friday to close on Sunday. On the blue line, single-tracking will be running from Stadium-Armory and Addision Road-Seat Pleasant. On both the Yellow and Blue lines trains will share one-track between Braddock Road and Van Dorn/Huntington stations. Add 20 minutes if travelling through either area.
