13th Year for Angels for Children Toy Drive

The 13th Annual Angels for Children Toy Drive is collecting donations of new toys to deliver to local children for Christmas.

The toy drive is organized by The Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad, Montgomery Housing Partnership and the Wheaton & Kensington Chamber of Commerce. Cash donations for buying toys are also accepted.

Volunteers are needed to wrap and sort toys at MHP's Pembridge Square Community Center, 2315 Blueridge Avenue, Wheaton, MD 20902 / 301-942-6900.

• Saturday, Dec. 17: 2 shifts: 10 a.m. to 12 noon + 12-2 p.m.
• Sunday, Dec. 18: 2 shifts: 10 a.m. to 12 noon + 12-2 p.m.
• Monday, Dec. 19 - Friday, Dec. 23: Wrapping and sorting gifts by appointment only from 3-6 p.m.

On Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24, the Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad (and Santa) will deliver the toys from 6-9 p.m.  Volunteers will meet at the Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad, 11435 Grandview Ave, Wheaton, MD 20902
