Man Found Dead in Driveway, Second Critically Injured by Gunshot

A man was found dead in a Norbeck neighborhood driveway Monday night after police responded to calls of shots fired in the area.

Following a report of gunshots fired in the Norbeck area Monday night, Montgomery County police found one man dead in a driveway and a second man turned up at a local hospital, critically injured with a gunshot wound.

About 10:30 p.m. Monday, officers were called for a report of shots fired on Laughlin Lane, The Washington Post reports. At the scene police found a man dead in the driveway and at roughly the same time another man went to a nearby hospital with a serious gunshot injury.

Detectives have connected both victims to the same incident and are trying to determine the men’s relationship, if any. The hospitalized man remained in critical condition, the newspaper says.
