Metro Bus Passenger Convicted in Stabbing of Bus Driver

The stabbing took place last October near the Wheaton Metro Station.

 

A Metro bus passenger was convicted of second-degree attempted murder Tuesday, according to an Examiner report.

Victor McEachin, 52, of Aspen Hill, stabbed a bus driver at the Wheaton Metro Station after the driver asked him to stop masturbating,

The incident began after midnight on Oct. 11 when the Y7 bus driver left the Silver Spring Metro station. A passenger alerted the bus driver that McEachin was touching himself, according to police officials.

When the bus arrived at the Wheaton Metro Station, , which left the driver with stab wounds in the stomach and the arm.

McEachin faces additional charges for attacking the female friend of the bus driver who tried to assist in the altercation, the Examiner reported. He faces up to 40 years in prison.
