Police Blotter: Sept. 5-13
An aggravated assault and three robberies all occurred in the Wheaton area.
Yesterday, Montgomery County Police released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District from Sept. 5 through Sept. 13.
Robbery:
- An occurred at the Hollister Company Store at Westfield Wheaton shopping mall on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 1:05 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and removed property from a second victim.
Suspect: black male, 18-25, 5’6”, 140 lbs., thin build, wearing a sweatshirt, and blue jeans. Jeremiah Jordan McLeod has been arrested and charged with this crime.

- On Thursday, Sept. 8, at 1:46 a.m., an armed robbery occurred at the Wheaton 7-11, 11406 Georgia Ave. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.
Suspect: black male, 5’6”, with a thin build.
- An aggravated assault/attempted armed robbery occurred at the corner of Ennalls Avenue and Grandview on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 3:30 a.m. The victim left the Rumba Y Carbon Grill and was on foot back to his house. The suspect assaulted the victim but no property was taken.
Suspect: black male, 25-28, 6’2”, 200 lbs., with dreadlocks, wearing a red T-shirt and black slacks.

Aggravated Assault:
- On Sept. 8 at 2:30 p.m., an aggravated assault occurred in front of Wheaton High School, 12601 Dalewood Dr. The suspect assaulted the victim with a weapon.
Suspect: Hispanic male, 5’9”, 200 lbs;
Vehicle: Black Ford van with MD tags.
