Five Things You Need to Know Today, Jan. 18

Wheaton/Edison renovation presentation rescheduled to Jan. 20th.

1. MCPS schools are cancelled today, but Montgomery County Government is running on a normal schedule. Monday's holiday shifted trash pickup, and the ice might slow dow some trucks this morning

2. Do you have sidewalks near your house that are in the public right of way (i.e. near a road)? County regulations say you have to remove the ice and snow from the sidewalk within 24 hours of the end of precipitation.

3. The Wheaton/Edison renovation presentation meeting was rescheduled to this evening, but school closures might affect the meeting again. We'll check back in as soon as we know more. Update: The presentation is moved to Jan. 20th.
