Metro This Weekend

Yellow line trains re-routed, Blue, Orange and Red Line track work planned for this weekend.

Metro has track work planned on sections of the Red, Orange and Blue lines from 10 p.m. Friday through closing on Sunday. The Yellow Line will be re-routed over the Blue Line via Arlington Cemetery for bridge inspections.

Red Line

Trains will share one track between Shady Grove and Twinbrook, as well as between Takoma and Forest Glen for renewal work.

Plan for an extra 20 minutes of travel time.

Blue Line

Trains will share one track between Stadium-Armory and Addison Road as Metro to repair floating slabs to offer a smoother ride.

Allow for an extra 20 minutes of travel time.

Orange Line

Trains will share one track between Vienna and West Falls Church as crews replace cross ties and insulators.

Allow for an extra 20 minutes of travel time.

Green Line – No work is scheduled for this weekend.
