Glenallan Students Participating in Worldwide 'Day of Play'

Students at Glenallan Elementary School have constructed cardboard games for Caine's Arcade Day of Play.

What started with a 9-year-old boy named Caine creating a cardboard arcade has become a global challenge centered on children's play and creativity. Tomorrow, the Caine-inspired Cardboard Challenge and Day of Play comes to Wheaton.

More than 100 students at Glenallan Elementary School have been designing and building their own cardboard creations after school for the last two weeks, Jennifer DePasquale of the Glenallan PTA told Patch.

And on Saturday, from 12-2 p.m., the students will take their cardboard games--and play!
