Wheaton HS to Create Athletics Hall of Fame
The first seven athletes and coaches will be inducted on May 12.
Wheaton High School has started its own athletics hall of fame. The first seven members will be inducted at 6 p.m. at the Wheaton . The hall of fame's inaugural class includes five athletes, one coach/administrator and one coach:
- 1972 Bill Cregar - Baseball, Football, Basketball
- 1974 Jim Peterson - Cross Country, Track
- 1976 Sherri Bleichner - Field Hockey, Basketball, Softball
- 1981 Tony Edwards - Football, Basketball, Baseball
- 1998 Leslie Walker - Basketball
- 1964-77 Pat Barry - Coach, Administrator
- 1966-07 Dave Moquin - Coach
